(a): As per Basic Statistics on Animal Husbandry & Fisheries published by Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Animal Husbandry, the production of wool in the country during last three years was 46.05 m Kg. (2012-13), 47.91 m Kg. ( 2013-14), 48.14 m Kg, ( 2014-15) and 50.18 m Kg. is projected to be produced in 2015-16. The State-wise information is at Annexure.
